A quick update to remind you that today is the last day to complete your survey, to make the last purchases, and pay the shipping costs for wave 2!
At midnight today (CEST), the survey will be definitively closed and the cards will start to be charged.

A quick update to remind you all that there is only one week left until the final closure of the Pledge Manager; as scheduled, it will be nexth 7 September 2020!

On a last note, I want to inform you that all wave 2 miniatures have been completed and optimized for printing by our sculptors and they will be sent to the factory to start the molds pre-production procedures!

Hello Scholars!
Here we are with a new update dedicated to the Pledge Manager (and other things)!
Let's start by saying that the response of the backers has been very positive and the two new expansions have received a very warm welcome so as to quickly become among the favorites of the backers who have currently completed the Survey.
Nonetheless, 2 days after the closure of the Survey, we must find that many of you still have not logged in to complete the purchases, in particular still many backers from the USA and South America are missing from the party. We also received many messages from backers from these two areas who are currently experiencing difficulties also due to COVID-19.
The date of August 7 for the closure of the PM had been chosen to allow the factory to start the production of the miniatures by the month of August, but from China, they tell us that they too have difficulty starting this phase of production before September.
Given these two factors, to try to facilitate as much as possible the Backers who have difficulties, we decided to postdate the closure of the Survey to September 7th, so as to give a full month of time to all the backers who are currently in difficulty hoping that in the meantime the situation will improve for everyone.
All payments will be charged on September 7th, but if you have already completed the survey and prefer to load your card first of that day, just contact us.

As already mentioned in September, the mass production of the Miniatures of wave 2 will start, which will be the first phase of the physical production of the new boxes.
The graphic section is almost finished and today we show you a preview of the splendid rooms that will make up Leonardo's Workshop, only two rooms are still mysterious ... you can start speculating on what they will contain!
Do you recognize all the rooms?
The bulk of the work that still needs to be completed concerns the rules. As you know we decided to review the material of wave 2, also based on the feedback we received after the arrival of wave 1. We are therefore working on the rewriting of the rules and the playtest phase, which however in August will be paused because of summer holidays (yes ... even the playtesters go on vacation ...).
We are working to give you Expansions and SGs that are not only new miniatures and some little rules, but to give you material that truly amplifies your gaming experience and that makes Dungeonology an even bigger and always fun to play. We are taking the time to accomplish all of this confident that you too can share our decision.
A request you are often asking us is to reprint an updated version of the core rulebook to be included in wave 2. I want to reassure you that we are not deaf to this request and we will try to accommodate you if it will be possible. Reprinting a new rulebook will involve additional costs to those budgeted for the production of wave 2 (also in function of the new translations that will be carried out and the time to do in all versions) and we must understand together with the factory if we can bear these unplanned costs. So for the moment, our answer is not a "NO" but an "if it would possible, we do it", we will update you when we have a definitive answer.
Three becomes one!
Let's now take a closer look at the new Triple Threat expansion!
If you decide to use the new Mega Boss contained in this box, at the beginning your Scholar will have to deal with the 3 Spriggan separately. In fact, when you enter a room with the "Boss" symbol, one of the 3 little beings will attach to your Scholar thanks to its particular base (the same one used for the pets of all our games).
3...2...1.. let us unite!
When one of the 3 Spriggans has stuck to Scholar he will give him two new abilities, one negative and one positive; for example, if you have been so unlucky to contract The Brain, he will reduce your Hand characteristic to 2 but will give you a special Action that will allow you to collect any Information Cube from the room you are in.
When all 3 Spriggans will be in play in their movement, they will tend to bring their Scholar closer, and when they are all in the same Area, they will stop torturing their victims and join together to form the "terrible" Spriggazord!
This new Mega Boss will continue to drive players crazy by pestering them with his skills! Spriggazord will always follow a Scholar who enters his Area until he decides to change his target.
Every time you meet this "fearsome" Boss you will have to choose which type of punishment to suffer! The punishments range from the loss of Information Cubes to discarding Trick Cards, it will be up to you to decide the least dangerous one for your victory!
Like the rest of the Wave 2 material, Triple Threat is also under construction so I can't spoil anything else for the moment but we are sure that this new boss will become one of your favorites ... especially if you love 80s Japanese robots!
Both Triple Threat and Unruly Students will be Multi-Language (ENG, ITA, ESP, FRA, GER, POL, CHI) and since many have asked us, you will not have to worry about the custom sleeves since all the cards contained in both expansions are Tarot format (they are all Bosses!).

We have finally arrived at the long-awaited opening of the Pledge Manager before Wave 2!
Within the next 48 hours, you will receive the email with the link to access your Survey where you can pay the shipping costs of wave 2 and if you want you can change your address and add new add-ons.
Don't worry if you don't receive the email immediately but Check your spam and Commercial folder too, and if you don't receive it within the next 48 hours contact us to solve the issue.
In the email, you will find all the instructions to complete the survey, but for any question or problem, you can always contact us by following this link!
Speaking of shipping costs, given the limitations of the BackerKit system in the management of 2-wave shipments, we opted for a very convenient two-level Flat solution, especially if you have added many "wave 2 add-ons" to your order.
Given the global situation for shipments with the pandemic still going on in many areas of the world and with China still not completely out of the problem, we have done our best to keep shipping costs to a minimum for everyone, and we are satisfied with the final results.
The Survey will close on August 7, 2020, at 11:59 pm (EST) and payments will be charged via Stripe after the closure as usual.
This will also be the last chance for those who have not participated in the KS to recover some of the expansions of Dungeonology and the Stretch Goals since we will give the opportunity to buy Rocca Civetta since the late pledge is no longer possible.
I also remind you that you can purchase the 2 new expansions, Triple Threat and Unruly Students in preview with a discounted price compared to the retail one!

Pledge Manager Update!

Hello Scholars!
As the title suggests, this update will be entirely dedicated to the next opening of the Pledge Manager, therefore we recommend you to read it carefully as it will inform you about a lot of news.
As you know in the last update we informed you that the next PM opening would allow backers to make new purchases but not to pay the shipping costs of wave 2, which would have been paid in a further opening shortly before the start of the shipment.
Working with the BackerKit team, however, we realized that this procedure would put the Pledge Manager system under stress and that it could create some problems in its management.
This reason, combined with the fact that the choice to divide these two payments had created some doubts in the community, made us return to our decision and for this, we inform you that during the opening of the PM in addition to the possibility of making new purchases (for the last time before the delivery of the wave 2), it will also be possible to pay the shipping costs of the wave 2. This was also possible because we managed to have prices blocked by our partners and thanks to the commitment of LMS in ensuring that the shipping costs are lower than those you have already paid, bringing the total (wave 1 + wave2) in line with the shipping costs of the games financed on KS with an equivalent quantity of goods shipped in two waves.
This change, however, will require a little more time for the preparation of the PM than we had planned, and therefore the opening of the Pledge Manager has been postponed to Tuesday 21 July 2020.
We are sorry for this further delay, but we are sure that it is the most advantageous choice for all of you and that will allow you to enjoy this latest opening of the PM without nasty surprises.
Actually we have some surprises for you, but we hope (indeed we are sure) that you will like them!
During the PM you will have the opportunity to purchase two new expansions! These are two small expansions that had been scheduled for the retail market for 2021, but given the postponement of wave 2 production we have the opportunity to offer them to our backers in preview and at a discounted price compared to the retail and add them to your wave 2 shipment.
Let's see these 2 new expansions!
UNRULY STUDENTS
There is an air of rebellion in Rocca Civetta! The aspiring professors got tired of the rules of the University and accompanied by their brotherhoods, they will enter the dungeons causing chaos.
it's nice to be bad!
With the UNRULY STUDENTS expansion, the Scholars of the core game, become fearsome Boss. Each of them will be at the head of a new university brotherhood with specific Students, of different colors, who will act against the players in the most disparate ways.
Valerio, at the head of the Gamma brotherhood, will unleash the definitive university party.
Rebecca with the strict and learned Thetasisterhood will force all the other students to study as they never did.
Vincenzo, with the Delta brothers, will carry out a conversion crusade in the monster domains.
Sofia and her Sigma will infiltrate the expeditions to grab any wealth they get in front of them.
Four new Brotheroods!!!!
When one of these new Boss is used in the game, the Students of its brotherhood can be used in addition to the standard Students of the core game, and drawing one of them from the University Bag will activate the boss special powers!
Finally, in this expansion, you will find rules for playing games with two of these Bosses in the same game; double threat, double fun!
With this expansion, which will contain 12 new Students and the cards and tokens of the new Bosses, so you can increase the number of Bosses at your disposal at the special price, only for the PM, of €12,5.
TRIPLE THREAT
With the TRIPLE THREAT expansion, a new Mega Boss comes into play! Many of you will remember the spoiler of this boss during the KS campaign, and many have asked us what happened to these 3 weird Spriggan ... well, now you know!
Do you remember them?
The chaotic Spriggan of the woods will stick to the Scholars, annoying them in completely new ways!
Spriggy in Boots, with his giant boots, will make noise by calling attention to the Student he chooses to follow, but he can also guide him to the most inaccessible places of the Dungeon.
Pinky, with his devastating punches, will chase away all the Students who approach his Scholars, but at the same time threaten the opposing Scholars.
The Brain, with his huge and bulky mask, constantly distracts his Scholar, even if he will help him collect Information Cubes.
3 Spriggans...
But the real treat will be revealed when the three Spriggans meet, joining together to form the terrible SPRIGGAZORD!
This Spriggan totem will annoy all Scholars, teleporting to their areas and continuing to follow them relentlessly!
...joined in a unique Spriggazord!
This expansion containing 4 new miniatures and all the cards necessary to play it, will be available in the PM at the special price of € 24.
In the coming weeks, we will give you other spoilers on these two new expansions so that you can decide whether to add them to your collection through the PM.
